Cruising for Causes Group Cruises

Bring Your Group. We'll Help Build the Cruise Around You.

From milestone celebrations and social groups to churches, associations, clubs, alumni communities, and professional organizations, Cruising for Causes helps bring people together through organized group cruise experiences.

You bring the people and the reason for traveling. We help bring the group experience together.

Group enjoying a cruise vacation

Your Group. Your Reason. Your Cruise.

There Are Plenty of Reasons to Travel Together

Celebrating something? Reconnecting with friends? Bringing an organization together? Planning an annual getaway? Your group does not need to be a nonprofit, conduct a fundraiser, or represent a charitable cause to plan a Group Cruise with Cruising for Causes.

Travel Together

Bring your people together on the same voyage while everyone still has the freedom to enjoy the vacation their own way.

Celebrate Together

Build memorable moments around birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, accomplishments, friendships, and milestones.

Connect Together

Create opportunities for members, friends, colleagues, and communities to strengthen relationships beyond everyday life.

Experience More

Combine the cruise vacation with group dining, activities, destinations, celebrations, meetings, and other experiences.

What Kind of Group Are You Bringing?

Group Cruises for the General Public

Cruising for Causes works with many types of groups. Whether you're organizing a personal celebration or bringing an established organization together, we can help determine whether a cruise is the right fit.

Celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, milestone occasions, and other reasons to celebrate.

Friends & Social Groups

Friends' getaways, social clubs, affinity groups, recreational communities, and annual trips.

Churches & Faith Communities

Fellowship travel, celebrations, retreats, ministry gatherings, conferences, and community experiences.

Associations & Organizations

Professional associations, civic organizations, membership groups, and community organizations.

Alumni & School Communities

Alumni associations, classmates, educational communities, school-affiliated groups, and reunion travel.

Military & Veteran Groups

Veteran organizations, military communities, service-connected groups, and shared-service gatherings.

Senior & Legacy Groups

Senior communities, social groups, multigenerational gatherings, and legacy-centered travel experiences.

Corporate & Professional Groups

Networking groups, recognition programs, professional communities, meetings, and team experiences.

Don't See Your Group?

Tell us what you're planning. Group Cruise opportunities are not limited to the categories above. We'll review your group's size, purpose, travel preferences, and needs to help determine the appropriate pathway.

Your Cruise Can Be as Simple or as Structured as You Want

Choose the Group Experience That Fits You

Not every group needs meetings, private events, or a full schedule of activities. We can help build the level of group experience that makes sense for the people traveling.

01

Just Travel Together

Your priority is getting everyone on the same cruise. Participants enjoy their vacation while sharing the voyage with the group.

02

Add Group Experiences

Incorporate selected shared experiences such as gatherings, dining, celebrations, recognition, activities, or other group moments.

03

Build a Signature Experience

Develop a more customized cruise around your organization, occasion, theme, community, or shared purpose.

What Can Be Part of Your Group Cruise?

Create the Moments That Bring Everyone Together

Welcome Gatherings

Give the group an opportunity to start the journey together.

Group Dining

Create opportunities for shared meals and group connection.

Celebrations

Recognize birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, accomplishments, and important milestones.

Recognition & Awards

Honor members, leaders, accomplishments, service, and meaningful contributions.

Meetings & Workshops

Incorporate appropriate educational, professional, organizational, or community programming.

Group Activities

Build shared activities into the experience when appropriate for your group.

Destination Experiences

Explore opportunities for members of the group to experience destinations together.

Theme Experiences

Build selected elements around your celebration, organization, community, or group identity.

Group amenities, meeting space, private functions, dining arrangements, onboard programming, excursions, and other experiences vary by cruise line, ship, sailing, group size, availability, applicable policies, and associated costs. Requested arrangements are not guaranteed until confirmed.

No Fundraising Required

You Don't Need a Cause to Cruise With Us

The Cruising for Causes Group Cruise Program is available to qualifying groups looking for an organized way to travel together. You do not need to represent a nonprofit, conduct a fundraiser, collect donations, or establish a charitable purpose.

Already Planning the Trip?

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, bringing friends together, organizing an annual club vacation, or planning travel for an organization, your reason for traveling belongs to your group. Our role is to help bring the cruise experience together.

Your Travel Can Help Support the Mission

You're Already Traveling. Let the Journey Do More.

When your group chooses Cruising for Causes, the experience can accomplish more than bringing people together. Revenue generated for Cruising for Causes through the Group Cruise Program helps support our programs, operations, and charitable mission.

Community & Service

Helping CFC strengthen communities, service initiatives, outreach, and meaningful connections.

Culture & Heritage

Helping create opportunities to celebrate, preserve, and share culture, history, heritage, and legacy.

Education & Opportunity

Helping support education, scholarships, professional development, entrepreneurship, and opportunity.

Health & Wellness

Helping advance initiatives that support wellness, restoration, awareness, and stronger communities.

Participation in a Group Cruise is a purchase of travel and related services and is not represented as a charitable contribution. Group Cruise payments should not be treated as tax-deductible charitable donations solely because the travel is arranged through Cruising for Causes.

Add Purpose to the Journey - If You Want To

Purpose Is an Opportunity, Not a Requirement

Some groups simply want to vacation together. Others want to incorporate service, culture, education, wellness, or another meaningful element into the experience. Both are welcome.

Your Group Decides What the Journey Means

When appropriate, groups may explore experiences connected to one or more of the Cruising for Causes Four Pillars. A standard Group Cruise does not require participation in pillar-based programming.

Group Cruise or Fundraiser Cruise?

Choose the Right Path for Your Group

Group Cruise

Your primary goal is bringing people together for a shared cruise experience.

No fundraising campaign or charitable cause is required.

This is the right starting point for most social, celebration, club, church, association, professional, and general-public groups.

Fundraiser Cruise

Your organization wants the cruise to include an approved fundraising purpose.

The Fundraiser Cruise Program follows a separate development and review process.

Planning a Family Reunion?

We Built a Program Specifically for Families

Family reunions are group travel, but families often need something more. Our Family Reunion Cruise Program is designed around connection, celebration, family history, tradition, legacy, and bringing generations together.

You Bring the People. We Help With the Travel.

Being a Group Leader Doesn't Make You a Travel Agent

Every successful group needs someone who helps keep the community connected. Your Group Leader or Coordinator serves as the primary connection between the group and Cruising for Causes.

  • Help introduce and promote the cruise to the group.
  • Communicate the group's preferences and priorities.
  • Serve as a primary organizational contact.
  • Help distribute approved information to participants.
  • Encourage travelers to complete reservations and required steps by established deadlines.
  • Help communicate group-specific activities and plans.
Group Leaders and Coordinators are not required to become travel professionals and should not independently collect cruise payments, retain participant credit-card information, or process travel transactions on behalf of Cruising for Causes. Travelers should complete reservations and payments through the authorized reservation and payment process provided for their group.

Group Opportunities May Be Available

Every Group and Every Sailing Is Different

Depending on the cruise line, sailing, inventory, group size, and applicable program, qualifying groups may have access to certain group amenities, promotional opportunities, meeting arrangements, or other group benefits.

Cruise-line group requirements, amenities, promotional offers, inventory, pricing, policies, and benefits vary and may change. No specific group amenity, rate, onboard credit, complimentary accommodation, private function, or other benefit is guaranteed unless it has been formally confirmed for the applicable group.
